Customer's Act Of Kindness Surprises PSE&G Workers In Haddonfield
A local resident shared the love with a crew working outside his house on Valentine's Day.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — A Valentine's Day work shift was sweeter for a local PSE&G crew, after a customer surprised them with a heart-shaped snack.
The men on the crew were replacing a damaged pole and underground equipment near John Beckett's house in Haddonfield, PSE&G said. Beckett gave the workers some festively-decorated donuts from Dunkin' as a random act of kindness.
Beckett told Patch that he had already delivered another box of donuts as a show of appreciation that day.

"They were heart-shaped donuts, it was kind of fun," he said. "I had two boxes, and had just dropped one off at the police station."
When driving home, Beckett said noticed how hard the PSE&G crew was working by his house on Kings Highway.

"These guys were really breaking their necks, digging and climbing poles," he said.
So, he decided to share the second box with the workers.
This crew is from the company's Southern Division in Moorestown, and they were touched by his unexpected gesture, PSE&G said.
The utility company shared a photo of Beckett and the appreciative workers, and noted that Friday Feb. 17 is National Random Acts of Kindness Day.
