Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School celebrates 100 years!

Today was the 100 year anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone at Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School.  The celebration included a town meeting where the children saw a slide show of past and present Haddonfield.  Elizabeth Haddon and John Estaugh came and visited and shared with the children during their meeting.  The children enthusiastically sang happy 100th birthday to them.  The meeting concluded with a special presentation by the fifth graders re-enacting the laying of the corner stone ceremony with special guests Craig Ogelby - Principal, Dr. Richard Perry-Superintendent, Mike Wilson-Assistant Superintendent, Gerry Bissinger-Administrative Intern, and Mr. Dennis-head of maintenance.  Mr. Wilson reminded us in his motivational speech to take a mental picture and remember the specialness of this day.
