Grant Will Improve 'Quality Of Life' In Haddon Area, Official Says
These particular grants are part of a $21.4 million allocation announced by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
HADDON AREA, NJ — Haddon Heights, Haddon and Haddonfield all recently received Clean Communities grant funding, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection said.
"The [department is] thrilled that we are able to distribute additional grant funds this year to help communities improve their local environments and improve quality of life," said New Jersey
Department of Protection (DEP) Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette.
The breakdown of funding by municipality is as follows:

- $15,406.01 was allocated to Haddon Heights
- $32,067.01 was allocated to Haddon
- $24,214.30 was allocated to Haddonfield
The funds can be used on projects such as beautifying neighborhoods, improving water quality,
enhancing wildlife habitats, enforcing litter and graffiti removal, street sweeping and more, according to LaTourette.
More than $21.4 million was allocated statewide in this round of grant funding, the NJ DEP said.
