Haddon Township Pride, Postponed For Air-Quality Concerns, Has Been Rescheduled
Although Pride Month has passed, Haddon never got to hold its major events. The parade and community night will now take place this fall.
HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Air-quality issues prompted organizers to postpone Haddon Township's major pride celebrations last month. But the township will march on, with new dates announced Tuesday for the pride parade and community night.
The third-annual Haddon Township Pride Parade is set for Oct. 5, while Pride + Progress Community Night will run the day after.
The events were originally planned for June 8 and 9. But the township and event organizers opted to indefinitely postpone them because of air-quality issues linked to the wildfires in eastern Canada.
