Schools in the Haddonfield and Haddon Township public school districts are moving to a remote learning plan due to coronavirus.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Schools in the Haddonfield and Haddon Township public school districts are moving to a remote learning plan due to coronavirus.
Haddonfield public schools will move to a remote learning environment beginning Tuesday, the district announced on Saturday. This will remain in effect through March 27.
Haddon Township public schools will move to a remote learning environment beginning Wednesday, the district announced on Saturday. This will remain in effect through March 27.

In both cases, there is a possibility that this closure could extend beyond March 27. During the closure, education will continue uninterrupted.
Schools in both districts were already scheduled to be closed on Monday so that teachers could prepare for the possibility. All after school, evening and weekend activities have also either been canceled or postponed. Events scheduled in the district's facilities and rental activities are also canceled. Athletic practices and competitions are canceled until further notice. More information will follow about the Spring athletic season. “We know that you have a lot of questions, we will be doing our best to answer those questions in the upcoming week,” the Haddonfield Public school district said in a statement. “This is all very new to us also. Best wishes, be safe, and we will hopefully see everyone back at school on Monday, March 30.”
"If you need assistance during school hours, please call your school and your question will be directed to the appropriate staff member," the Haddon Township Public School District said in a statement. "Additional information will follow and all COVID-19 parent letters and resources are available on our website. These are uncertain times yet, as always, I am certain that the Haddon Township School Community will work together to support the needs of our students."
