Here's How Haddonfield, Haddon Students Fared On The SATs
Here's the average SAT scores for students at Haddonfield Memorial and Haddon Township high schools.
Students in the Haddonfield Public School District tested among the top 20 in the state for SAT scores, according to the most recent averages for the test released by the state.
The SAT is still considered the primary standardized test that judges a student's college qualifications. And even in the middle of a pandemic, they play an important role for incoming seniors who are already looking at colleges — even as testing has been delayed, or centers have been closed because of the coronavirus.
So Patch put together the list of each New Jersey high school's most recent average scores that the state released, and ranked them from top to bottom.

Patch compiled the combined SAT scores as well as the lists of scores in the two sections identified as "math" and "reading and writing."
Students in Haddonfield averaged a total of 1,251, the 17th highest average in New Jersey, according to the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2018-19 school year. The reports include figures on enrollment, proficiency scores, PARCC scores, graduation rates and SAT scores.

These reports are designed to inform parents, educators and communities about how well a school is performing and preparing its students for college and careers, according to the DOE.
Haddonfield students scored an average of 627 for math and 624 for reading and writing. Perfect would be a combined 1,600, or 800 in each section.
Haddon Township students averaged a score of 1,105, ranking the district 119th on the list. This includes a score of 551 in math and 554 in reading and writing.
