Revolutionary War Skirmish Returns To Haddonfield Streets June 3
The British are coming (back)! A historic reenactment of a skirmish on Kings Highway will take place in June with themed events all day.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Town criers will spread the news that King George's British forces are "looting and pillaging" Haddonfield once again, as The Skirmish returns for another year on Kings Highway.
All are welcome to witness the historic re-enactment on the borough's streets on June 3, with activities throughout the day such as sword-fighting lessons, pony rides, a performance by Washington Crossing Fifes and Drums, and opportunities to meet character re-enactors.
"The British will invade Haddonfield and be challenged by Continental troops, just as they did 245 years ago -- in June 1778," the event announcement says. "Redcoats on horseback will charge, muskets will be fired, and the Continentals will try to 'annoy' and slow down the redcoats before they head off to the Battle at Monmouth."
