Tree Planting Ceremony Follows Memorial Day Parade In Haddonfield
There will also be a flyover during the parade on Monday, May 27.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield will hold a commemorative tree planting in the Downtown Business District to honor the nation’s fallen soldiers on Memorial Day.
American Legion Post 38 will sponsor the planting of an American Sycamore tree at the corner of Kings Highway East and Haddon Avenue North, officials announced.
Haddonfield Commissioner John Moscatelli will dedicate the plaque at the base of the tree. The plaque reminds passersby to “Remember the sacrifice of our fallen US military.”

Members of the American Legion Post 38 and representatives of the USO will be in attendance alongside members of the community.
The ceremony will take place at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, May 27, following the traditional Memorial Day parade, which concludes at the memorial site at Haddonfield Memorial High School.

There will be a flyover by 177th Fighter Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard out of Atlantic City, during the parade at 10:15 a.m., weather permitting.
