Appraiser Will Address Property Reassessment in February
Results of the property reassessment will be presented to the governing body and public at Feb. 14 work session meeting

The owner of the appraisal firm which conducted the property reassessment process will be present at the Feb. 14 work session meeting to present and explain the final results.
Rick Del Guercio, owner of Appraisal Systems, Inc. which was the firm hired to conduct the reassessment has been asked to attend this meeting to present the final product to the governing body, according to Mike Kronyak, borough administrator.
He explained that the governing body will not have any details about the final product until it is completed and has no input in the process.

Kronyak said the period for informal hearings which was conducted over the past two weeks is now completed. He said a number of property owners did come in to meet with a representative. These opportunities for informal hearings were set up for property owners to come in and review their properties record card with a hearing officer.
Residential property owners received mailings earlier this month with their new property reassessment and other pertinent information. Information has been made available online through the Appraisal Systems website.
