Community Witnesses the Swearing In of Mayor Heck and Council Persons DiPisa and Link [VIDEO]

The borough began its business for 2012 by swearing in its re-elected Republican officials Mayor Rose Heck and council persons Justin DiPisa and Pamela Link on New Year’s Day at the start of the annual reorganization meeting.

Heck thanked the community for having the confidence to re-elect her once again adding that “I truly love this job and the work I do.” Borough Clerk Rose Sees administered the oath to the mayor as she was officially sworn in to her second consecutive term.

This was the fourth swearing in ceremony for Heck as mayor. She first served two terms in the late 1980s into the 1990s. Following her many years in the state assembly she was re-elected again as mayor in 2007 and 2007.
