Dobelaar Will Continue to Chair Planning Board; Bocker Continues as Vice Chair

Planning Board conducts annual reorganization meeting Wednesday

Harry Dobelaar will continue to serve as Planning Board chairman for the 2012 year along with Andrea Bocker as vice chair.

The borough’s Planning Board convened Wednesday night for its first meeting of the year where in addition to closing out some unfinished business from 2011, went on to conduct its annual reorganization meeting.

Dobelaar thanked his fellow board members who unanimously voted to keep him on as chairman for another year. He went on to say "it’s an honor to serve on this Planning Board and pleasure to serve the community." As a longtime resident of the borough he added that it would be remiss if he did not compliment the borough’s employees for handling the emergency situations that arose this past year and also commended the mayor and council for their work during a tough budget year.
