Mayor Makes Commissioner Appointments for 2012
Appointments for 2012 for all borough positions made during annual reorganization meeting

A routine part of the annual reorganization meeting includes the mayor's appointments to all borough positions as well as the appointment of council members to the committees of which they will serve as commissioner for the coming year.
Some changes were made in the commissioner appointments for the coming year. David Gonzalez will now serve as commissioner of Fire, Streets and Sanitation and will once again serve as deputy commissioner of Police. Gonzalez will also serve as liaison to Environmental and Transportation commission.
John Dingertopadre will now serve as commissioner of Parks, Public Facilities and Transportation and as deputy commissioner of Recreation. He also once again serves as liaison to the Municipal League.

Sonya Buckman remains commissioner of Recreation and will now serve as deputy commissioner of Fire, Streets and Sanitation. Once again she serves as liaison to the library and will be the chamber of commerce liaison and as juvenile outreach ombudsman.
Russell Lipari, the newly elected council president for this year, remains commissioner of Health and will now be commissioner of Land Use. He is now the deputy commissioner of Parks, Public Facilities and Transportation. He was also once again elected council liaison to the Planning Board.

Justin DiPisa remains commissioner of Police and remains deputy commissioner of Finance and Social Service and Welfare. He will also serve as liaison to intergovernmental services.
Pamela Link remains commissioner of Finance, as well as Social Services and Welfare. She serves as deputy commissioner of Health and Land Use. She serve as liaison to Community Awareness Access for All.
Additional appointments made include Mayor Rose Heck as Drug Alliance chairperson; Garrett Pepe as the DPW Mayor’s liaison, Tom Meli as the Mayor’s liaison to the Fire Department, Ron Kistner as Mayor’s liaison to the Recreation department and Steve Pikowski as Mayor’s liaison to the Finance committee.
