• El Car Wash Coming to Hasbrouck Heights Route 17 Site (TAPinto.net) — A new El Car Wash has been approved for the former Mt. Fuji site on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights, following a Planning Board vote on October 7. Board members weighed noise, traffic, and zoning variances, while also ruling on two separate residential applications, including denying a two-family home on Washington Place and approving plans for 513 Boulevard. 
• Five Touchdowns, A 47-14 Victory, And New Milford's Playoff Dream Just Evaporated (newsbreak.com) — Hasbrouck Heights will represent the Meadowlands Division in the NJIC Championship playoffs after edging out New Milford on a defensive tiebreaker, despite New Milford's dominant 47-14 win over Hawthorne. The decision comes down to a 'fewer points allowed' rule that left New Milford sharing the division title but missing the postseason, clearing the path for Heights' playoff run.
