Troubled Jet Carrying Post Malone Finally Lands After Circling NJ
The rapper was reportedly on the plane that blew multiple tires. The plane circled the area for hours, according to reports.

TETERBORO, NJ — A jet carrying rap star Post Malone and his entourage landed at Stewart International Airport in New York on Tuesday, ending a scary saga after the aircraft blew two tires at Teterboro Airport and then sought a safe landing spot for nearly five hours, the Federal Aviation Administration said Tuesday.
The Gulfstream Aerospace G-4 aircraft landed safely at Stewart International in New Windsor at about 3:50 p.m., said Jim Peters, an FAA spokesperson. The FAA is investigating what caused the plane's tires to blow.
Instagram photos show the rapper on the plane that was initially diverted to Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport in Westfield, Mass., according to the Federal Aviation Administration and other reports. The flight crew decides where a plane should land during an emergency.

The aircraft was carrying 16 passengers when it blew two tires as it took off from Runway 24 at Teterboro at about 10:50 a.m., according to the FAA. The aircraft was heading to London Luton Airport in Luton, England.
Fox News said emergency crews readied to receive the plane at Teterboro after the pilot circled for a time, while burning fuel, but it was then diverted to an airport in Massachusetts. Then, according to the report, the plane was said to be making an emergency landing somewhere in Connecticut before it was diverted back to Stewart Airport in New York.

Fox News and TMZ said the rapper boarded the jet after spending Monday night at the MTV Video Music Awards, where he took home an award for song of the year for his hit "Rockstar."
The plane is a fixed-wing, multi-engine. It is owned by SMB Aircraft LLC of Longwood, Florida, FAA records show. It was manufactured in 1993.
