$102K To Repair Water Drainage Issues At Hillsborough Schools
The Board of Education unanimously voted to approve the withdrawal of $101,998 to address the issues at the baseball and softball fields.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Water issues at Hillsborough High School and Hillsborough Middle School will soon be remediated.
The Hillsborough Township Board of Education voted to approve the proposals from Natural Green Lawncare for water drainage remediation at both schools for the amount of $101,998 at the Monday night meeting.
The Board also voted to approve the withdrawal of the funds from the maintenance reserve account to cover the repairs.

The bulk of the cost for repairs will go toward remediating the water issues at the Hillsborough High School Varsity Baseball Field. Drainage work will cost $69,230, according to the proposal.
A total of $15,948 will also be spent for drainage work at the Hillsborough High School Jr. Varsity Baseball Field and Jr. Varsity Softball Field.

At the middle school near one of the exterior doors, labeled Outside Door #37, $4,200 will be used to repair drainage issues and put in new sidewalk.
