$110K Playground Addition For Special Needs Kids Coming To Hillsborough School
The additional playground equipment is designed for students with special needs who attend Triangle Elementary School.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Roughly $110,000 worth of playground equipment for students with special needs will be added to Triangle Elementary School.
"I think the additions to the playground will be a well received resource at Triangle school," said Superintendent Michael Volpe to Patch. "In the spirit of inclusivity, we are making sure that all of our students - especially those with special needs - have access to equipment and fun that will allow them to participate with all other students fully."
The Hillsborough Township Board of Education approved a proposal from MRC in Spring Lake for a total of $110,775.33 for the additional equipment at its Feb. 12 meeting.
