2 Men Hospitalized In Somerset County Shooting
Somerset County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after police found two men suffering from gunshot wounds just after 5 a.m. on Sunday.
MANVILLE, NJ — Two men are hospitalized following a shooting in Manville early Sunday morning, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald and Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor announced.
Just after 5 a.m. on Sept. 11, a 911 call reported a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of South Main Street, said McDonald.
Manville Police Officers found an adult man with a gunshot wound who said he was shot while in a home in the area of North Weiss Street, said McDonald.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Manville Police Officers then went to the home in the area of North Weiss Street where they found a second adult man who had sustained a gunshot wound, said McDonald.

That man was also taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both men are expected to survive their injuries.
Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Detectives from the Manville Police Department are investigating.
Authorities have not released a motive as the investigation is ongoing.
