Driver, Car Rescued From Flooded Roadway In Montgomery
"Reminder: when you see high water on the roadway, turn around, don't drown," Hillsborough Fire Company says.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — Hillsborough Fire Company No. 3 helped to rescue a driver and their car that was stranded in a flooded roadway in Montgomery on Monday.
Firefighters arrived at Millstone River Road near Blackwells Mills Road just after 3:30 p.m. for a report of a vehicle stuck in water with someone inside.
Hillsborough's Brush 38 responded towing Marine 38 and two swift water technicians as well. Once on scene, the car was found empty and the driver was found to have been able to get out by them self.

"Reminder: when you see high water on the roadway, turn around, don't drown," Hillsborough Fire Co. No. 3 - Station 38 stated.
A flood warning remains in effect for Somerset County, issued by the Nation Weather Service, through 1 p.m. due to flooding in the Millstone River. As a result of the flooding Griggstown Causeway and Blackwells Mills Causeway both remain closed. However, county routes 533 and 605 in Montgomery have reopened as of 7 a.m. Tuesday.
