HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here in Hillsborough. There are a number of races on the ballot in Hillsborough this November, including the township committee and school board.

Here is everything you need to know about Election Day in your town:

There are two candidates running for township committee for the only open three-year seat. Check out the profile on each candidate below by clicking their names.

Democrat Jeffrey Wright is running against Republican incumbent Frank DelCore for township committee.

The school board race is also heated with five candidates vying for the three open three-year seats.

Residents will also vote on their two representatives in the New Jersey State Assembly District 21. Democrats Andrew Zwicker and Roy Freiman are running against Republicans Mark Caligure and Christine Madrid.

The Sheriff seat is also up for grabs with Democrat Darrin Russo and Republican William "Bill" Parenti both vying for the seat.

One seat on the Board of Chosen Freeholders is up for election. Republican incumbent Patricia L. "Pat" Walsh is running against Democrat challenger Melonie Marano.

Where do I vote?

Your polling place is included on a sample ballot mailed out to all registered voters. If you're still not sure, or you misplaced that sample ballot, you can look up your polling location on the Somerset County Election Division's website.

When can I vote?

Election Day 2019 is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
