Hillsborough Home Assessment Inspections To Begin At End Of September

At the end of September, the Assessor's office will be starting residential Inspections as part of the annual reassessment program in the Northeast section of the town. The Assessor's office performs inspections on one-fifth of the township each year. The inspectors drive a township-marked vehicle and have a township ID. If it’s not possible to let an inspector in when they are in your area, they will leave a note for you to call the office to schedule an appointment for the interior inspection. Please call the office at 908-369-8077 with any questions. Inspections are important because they will confirm the amenities and condition of the home. If no inspection is performed, amenities and home conditions will be estimated.
