Public Hearing On Hillsborough School Budget + 3 Cops To Be Honored: Look Ahead

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The week of April 23, 2023 is set to be a busy one in Hillsborough Township with multiple meetings planned.

School Board

The Hillsborough Township Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Auten Road Intermediate School cafeteria, 281 Auten Road. On the agenda is a the final Presentation on the 2023-2024 School Budget by the Superintendent and School Business Administrator. A public hearing will be held prior the Board's final vote on the budget.

Additionally, the Board will be voting on separate budget proposals including a separate proposal for an additional $934,636 for the Security Department; and a separate proposal for an additional $$1,901,880 for the additional staffing.

Township Committee

The Township Committee is set to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the municipal building, 379 S Branch Road, Hillsborough. On the agenda are multiple proclamations including Police CPR Lifesaving Awards for Officers Dylan Ely, Tiana Ramos, Rick Ticheno, Aman Tomar and Frank Polizzi; Donna Griggs - Hillsborough High School’s Governor’s Educator of the Year; and Nimisha Jain - Sunnymead Elementary School’s Governor’s Educator of the Year.
