Hillsborough Seeks Historic Scenic Photos For Town Calendar

The selected historic pictures will be used to commemorate Hillsborough's rich 250-year history in the 2021 town calendar.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough is seeking historic photos to create the 250th Anniversary edition of the color printed 2021 calendar.

In previous years the calendar would include various schedules, important dates and phone numbers along with 12 photographs featuring Hillsborough Township’s landscape and scenery, submitted by residents.

To commemorate Hillsborough’s rich 250-year history., the upcoming 2021 calendar will look for historic images of the township.

The selected images will be featured in the calender, which will be mailed out to every home in Hillsborough.

"The printing of the calendar is funded through the various advertisements contained within the calendar," Mayor Doug Tomson said.

Individuals interested in submitting photographs for consideration for the 2021 calendar can email their high-resolution image to the Township Clerk and Public Information Officer at pborek@hillsborough-nj.org. A photo release will need to accompany the pictures although there is no guarantee that the photo will be used. The photo release form is found on the Township website at www.hillsborough-nj.org.
