Latest Hillsborough Coronavirus Updates: 2 Deaths, 76 Cases
As of Monday, there are a total of 902 cases and 31 deaths in Somerset County.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township now has two deaths and 76 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus as of Monday, according to Mayor Doug Tomson. The outbreak in New Jersey and across the nation is having vast impacts in Hillsborough, including the closure of schools and many businesses.
The number of cases of the illness caused by the virus, known as COVID-19, continue to rise and additional measures and closures continue to be announced.
The breakdown of Hillsborough cases by age includes:- 2 - age 0 to 9
- 1 - age 10 to 19
- 9 - age 20 to 29
- 3 - age 30 to 39
- 16 - age 40 to 49
- 19 - age 50 to 59
- 14 - age 60 to 69
- 6 - age 70 to 79
- 6 - age 80 to 89

New Jersey had 3,663 new cases and 86 more deaths on Monday. The numbers marked the second day in a row that the numbers were much lower than the outbreak's worst day on Saturday. This brings the state's total to 41,090 cases and 1,003 deaths.
