REAL-TIME RESULTS: Hillsborough Election 2018

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The unofficial results are in for the Hillsborough Township Committee and School Board election and looks like a mixed bag.

Mail ballots are being counted Wednesday it is unclear if all of the ballots are accounted for yet.

Township Committee:

It looks like a split ticket in Hillsborough with Republican Shawn Lipani and Democrat Olivia Holmes ahead at the moment of the two township committee seats over Republican Ron Skono and Democrat Jeffrey A. Wright.

School Board:

In Hillsborough/Millstone School District, there were six candidates vying for the three three-year seats on the board. Jane M. Staats, Lisa Maroun, and Christopher Pulsifer are ahead at the moment for the seats over incumbents Brett Cooper, Dana Boguszewski, and Bonnie R. Kole.

Additionally, Joyce Eldridge-Howard won over Thomas J. Zobele for the one one-year unexpired term seat.

Somerset County:

The county freeholder race is also contested with four candidates vying for two three-year seats.

Incumbent Republican candidates include Patrick Scaglione and Mark Caliguire. Democrat challengers include Sara Sooy and Shanel Robinson.
