Somerset Gynecologist Faces More Charges, 3rd Woman Comes Forward
Dr. Chike J. Aguh, who has an office in Somerset, faces more sexual assault charges as more patients come forward, say authorities.

SOMERSET, NJ — A third patient has come forward saying a Somerset County gynecologist sexually assaulted her during an appointment, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.
Dr. Chike J. Aguh, 64, of Mulberry Court, in Belle Mead, was arrested this past Wednesday and charged with second-degree sexual assault.
The third patient reported that she was sexually assaulted by Aguh while at a medical appointment on Jan. 2 at his practice in the Somerset section of Franklin Township, Robertson said.

Aguh was also previously arrested twice on Jan. 13 and 15 for sexually assaulting two other women, according to police. He was previously charged with second-degree sexual assault and two counts of fourth-degree sexual contact.
One woman said the assault occurred in 2019 and another reported it on Jan. 12, 2021. Aguh was taken to the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
