Man Stabbed Twice In Back Of Head: Somerset Prosecutor
A New Brunswick man was found stabbed in the back of his head in the Somerset section of Franklin Township on Tuesday night.

FRANKLIN, NJ — Authorities are investigating the stabbing of a man in the back of the head in the Somerset section of Franklin Township on Tuesday night.
Franklin Township Police responded to the area of Hempstead Drive following a 911 call reporting shots fired at around 9:57 p.m. on May 8.
A 28-year-old New Brunswick man was found lying on the ground outside of an apartment building with two stab wounds to the back of his head, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.

The victim was transported to an area trauma center where he was treated for his injuries.
The victim reported that he was assaulted and sustained lacerations to the back of his head during a physical altercation with the unknown suspect, according to the report.

Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in this incident.
Anonymous tipsters wanting to collect the reward monies are to call the Somerset County Crime Stoppers Tip line at 1-888- 577-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers Tips can also give tips online at www.888577tips.org or www.scpo.net and click on either “Crime Stoppers” or “TIPS HOTLINE”. Crime Stopper Tipsters will receive a “special code number” in order to collect the reward monies. All anonymous Crime Stopper tips will be kept confidential.
