Join us for a film presentation and discussion in the second monthly program in our 'Sustainability Steps' series, designed to inspire you to reduce your carbon footprint and take preventative steps to reduce climate change. In “Bag It”, a touching and often flat-out-funny film, we follow “everyman” Jeb Berrier as he embarks on a global tour to  unravel the complexities of our plastic world.  What starts as a film about plastic bags evolves into a wholesale investigation into plastic’s effects on our oceans, environment, and bodies.  A group discussion will follow to share ideas and viewpoints to improve our sustainability efforts. This movie has won multiple awards in various film festivals. A filmography of other environmental films will be available, as well as a selection of relevant books for the group to read until a subsequent program designated for sharing in a book discussion.
