Zumba – May 7 at 7 p.m.

Join us for this exhilarating 6 Week Series: May 7, 14, 21, 28 & June 4, 11. Zumba combines high energy with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance your way to a “fitter you” with exciting rhythms! Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water.

Using Google+ Pages for Business - May 7 at 7 p.m.

This class will provide an introduction to using the Google+ Pages features of Google's Google+ social media platform. A limited number of library laptops are available for the attendees' use.  There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

Book Discussion: Behind the Scenes at Downton Abbey - May 8 at 3 p.m.

Whether you're new to the the Downton Abbey television series or have watched episodes more than once, consider joining us at our bimonthly Downton Abbey Book Discussion Group!  At this meeting we will be discussing the companion book to Season Four, 'Behind the Scenes at Downton Abbey' by Emma Rowley. Consider this title as your official backstage pass to the set, actors, and drama of all four seasons.  Find out what is behind the scripts, sets, props, wardrobe, and filming on location at Highclere Castle.  Tea and refreshments will be served!

Youth Services Programs from May 5 through May 10:

Monday Morning Playtime  – For Parents/Caregivers – May 5 at 10 a.m.

This program will have different topics of discussion along with recommended resources. Children ages birth through 36 months are welcome, there will be toys for them to play with.  Join us for some great social interaction!

Story Time: Under The Sea – Ages 3-6 – May 5 at 1 p.m.
Help your preschool or kindergarten child get ready to read! Enjoy stories together and build language skills. No registration required! 

Tail Waggin’ Tutors – Grades K-4 – May 5 at 4 p.m.

This is Therapy Dog International's Program: Children Reading to Dogs! Spend time reading to Xena, a TDI certified dog! Each registered child will get 10 special minutes practicing reading skills while Xena listens.

First Look Books – Grades 6–12 – May 5 at 5 p.m.

Craft Time: Celebrate Birds! – Ages 4-6 – May 8 at 10 a.m.

Have fun making a craft with your preschool or kindergarten child!

Creature Comfort Pets – Grades K-2 – May 8 at 4 p.m.

This is a Creature Comfort Pet Therapy Program! Children will read out loud to a 'Creature Comfort' pet! Each child will get 10 minutes of reading time while a rabbit or dog listens! Online registration is NOT available for this program – call or stop by the Children’s Desk. Please arrive early – if you are late for your time slot you will lose your spot!

Baby Songs – Ages Newborn – 24 months – May 9 at 10 a.m.

Spend time making music with your little one! NOTE: Parents, in order to provide a safe environment for our youngest patrons, older siblings will not be allowed into this program.
