Wanted Naked Man Arrested For Multiple Lewd Acts In Hillsborough: Prosecutor

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough man has been arrested again in connection with sexual crimes.

This time he was charged in connection with multiple lewd acts including masturbating at a township resident's property this past March and peering in another resident's window while naked in 2018, announced Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald.

Bernandino Gonzalez Lorenzana, 36, of Robin Road, Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with three counts of fourth-degree peering, two counts of fourth-degree lewdness, and one count of lewdness, a disorderly persons’ offense.

He was also previously arrested in November 2022 for second-degree distribution of child pornography and third-degree possession of child pornography. Read More: Child Porn Charges Filed Against Hillsborough Man

March Incident

On March 22 at around 10:15 p.m. a Meadowbrook Drive resident said he was alerted and saw an unknown man masturbating on his property which was captured on his home surveillance camera, said McDonald. Read More: Man Masturbating On Hillsborough Property Wanted By Police: Prosecutor

Hillsborough Township Police Officers canvassed the area but couldn't find the man. Officers viewed the surveillance footage and confirmed the masturbation incident, said McDonald.

The suspect was described as a fair-skinned Caucasian man, who was wearing what appeared to be a bandana on his head, no shirt, and underwear when the act occurred.

Past Incidents

An investigation found that the incident on March 22, 2023, was related to two other incidents of indecent exposure which occurred in Hillsborough on September 14, 2018, and November 1, 2018.

On September 14, 2018, at around 10 p.m., a naked man was seen on surveillance video near the back door and in the front of a home on Triangle Road. The light-skinned man appeared to be wearing a black wig, black shoes, and a black cloth covering his face, said McDonald.

On Nov. 1, 2018, at around 7 p.m., a resident of Meadowbrook Drive reported that she saw a naked male at the back door of her residence. The individual was captured on surveillance video at the residence and was observed peering into the house. He was described as a light-skinned male wearing a black wig, black shoes with white stripes, and a bandana covering his face. Arrest

As a result of this investigation, Hillsborough detectives were able to identify Bernandino Gonzalez Lorenzana as a suspect.

On Thursday, April 6, Bernandino Gonzalez Lorenzana was taken into custody in Hillsborough Township and taken to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office where he was charged.

Bernandino Gonzalez Lorenzana was taken to the Somerset County Jail where he was lodged pending a detention hearing in this matter.
