Women in Business Golf & Lunch Networking

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Somerset County Business Partnership “Women in Business” group has scheduled the 5th annual “Golf and Lunch for Women in Business” on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. The event will take place at the Callaway Golf Learning Center at Neshanic Valley Golf Course, 2301 South Branch Road in Neshanic Station, New Jersey.

From 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, both non-golfers and experienced players will have the opportunity to work with Neshanic Valley golf professionals to improve technique. The clinic will be followed by networking and a lunch with an all new menu. Door prizes will be awarded.

The clinic will feature half hour instruction of the full swing; putting; pitching and chipping; and an on-course experience on the par 3 holes at the Learning Center. Golf clubs will be available. Participants will have the option of playing a 9-hole Scramble while the clinic is taking place.

The state-of-the-art Learning Center includes a double-ended driving range with grass and mat hitting areas, a 12,000 square foot putting green, a practice facility including bunkers and three chipping greens, and two practice holes.

“The Golf & Lunch event is one of our most popular gatherings for women in business,” commented Diana Sieberg, Vice-president of the Business Partnership. “Non-golfers have an opportunity to gain experience to get them on the road to playing a lifetime sport while experienced golfers have an opportunity to play and network in a forum where valuable business contacts are often made.”

Fee for the clinic and lunch is $55 for Business Partnership members and $75 for non-members. Fee for networking and lunch only is $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Fee to include the 9-Hole Scramble is $80 for members and $110 for non-members. Sponsorship for the event is provided by WithumSmith & Brown.

“Women in Business” is a Business Partnership initiative directed at the specific needs of women and their businesses. The purpose of the group is to provide learning opportunities about other women-owned businesses. Focus areas include mind, family, society, body, and finances.
