• An 1860s trip through the Pascack Valley — Part 2 (thepressgroup.net) — A narrated 1860s stagecoach ride traces the old Pascack Valley route through what are now Woodcliff Lake, Hillsdale, Westwood, and Emerson on the way to Closter's rail depot. Along the way, it spotlights Hillsdale-area landmarks, early churches, farms, taverns, and mills, inviting today's residents to picture how familiar roads and reservoirs once looked as open countryside and busy wagon paths. 
• One card, 64 libraries, a summer well spent (thepressgroup.net) — A summer-long Bergen County library scavenger hunt sent one Montvale resident crisscrossing local towns, including Hillsdale, to collect 64 passport stamps before the August deadline. His quest highlighted how easily Hillsdale and neighboring communities can share programs, resources, and ideas through the BCCLS network, from hidden-logo challenges to film events that local libraries may now adapt for their own patrons.
