    Mindful of those truly deserving and in need, we must ask how long will so-called Human Services continue to misdirect resources in favor of repeat welfare abusers and criminal offenders who in some manner should restore their own lives, and the communities which have tolerated them? As someone once said: "Give each one a broom". However, at this time, there are two relevant quotes which can be linked to the ignorant failure of governments to affect critical social issues in our communities which include overall increased crime, drug epidemics and homelessness.
