Five Other Officers Training
Once the five new officers start work, the Police Department will be one step closer to filling its table of organization, which is currently 146 officers, the city said.
“I congratulate our new lieutenant and sergeants on their well-deserved promotions and thank them for their continued dedication to the City of Hoboken,” said Mayor Ravi Bhalla. “I welcome Officer Ingraffia to our City and commend him for choosing to join what I believe to be the best Police Department in the nation.”
“By taking the oath to protect and serve this community, and to take on the responsibility of leading our finest, these officers are renewing their already strong commitment to Hoboken and its residents,” said Public Safety Director Ken Ferrante. “Policing has not been an easy job the last few years, and I applaud our promoted, and new officers for that strong commitment they continue to make."
“I know these men will embrace the challenges of their new assignments with pride, while continuing to serve the residents of Hoboken,” said Police Chief Steven Aguiar. “I am grateful to each, for their ongoing contributions and dedication.”
