Nike Sneaker Art Contest Winners Announced
The long awaited winners of Ms. Kubach's Art I Nike Sneaker Design Contest at Hoboken High School are in.
The long awaited winners of Ms. Kubach’s Art I Nike Sneaker Design Contest are in. Based on pieces by modern artists, the sneaker designs are student interpretations of their favorite works. Students were free to choose their artistic inspirations as well as the medium.
The first place winner is Ayni Harris whose sneaker was based on the work of Roy Lichtenstein.
Second place went to Angel Rivera whose sneaker was based on the well known commissioned graffiti artist named
Sheppard Fairy.

Third place winner went to Bianca Hoffer for her interpretation of Ron English and Fourth place went to Nick Gerasimou whose sneaker resembled Van Gogh's famous painting Starry night.
Each of the four students will be rewarded with prizes from Nike. Support art and creative expression by coming to the Hoboken High School's Annual Art Exhibition held at the Monroe Center on April 24th from 7pm – 9pm.
