Classic Style Barbershop Opens on Washington Street

“It feels great, nice to finally be open,” owner Jamie Emma said.
The barbershop is part of a franchise that started in Arizona in 1999. The idea is recreate the feel of a classic barbershop with renovated vintage seats and services such as shoe shines and hot lather shaves.

Emma said part of that classic feel involves offering a family friendly atmosphere.
“We want that father and son experience,” Emma said. “This is where a son can feel like a big boy.”

Fittingly, Emma said the first customer was an 11 year-old boy. “He'll forever be in our computer system as our very first customer,” Emma said.
Regular haircuts at V's Barbershop cost $25, with boys 8th grade and below going for $16, and seniors for $21 between 10am-3pm. For $30 customers could get either a shave or a facial and massage. The barbershop also offers discounts to father and son combinations of any age.
V's Barbershop is open Mondays through Fridays from 8am to 8pm and Saturdays from 9am to 6pm. It is closed on Sundays. Customers have the option of booking appointments during weekdays. For more information visit the V's Barbershop website.
