Fight In Hoboken, NY Man Charged With Assault: PD
Hoboken police charged a New York resident with aggravated assault after he allegedly stuck another man in the face, authorities said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police charged a New York resident with aggravated assault after he allegedly stuck another man in the face on Sunday, authorities said.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, officers responded to a fight in the area of 88 River Street around 2:12 a.m. Prior to the fight, two men – including Luis Orellanos, 29, of Staten Island – were allegedly seen “pushing and shoving each other.”
Hoboken officers had broken up the shoving match and dispersed the crowd when Orellanos allegedly approached the other man from behind and struck him in the face. The man fell and was knocked unconscious, police said.

Hoboken officers on scene arrested Orellanos, learning that he had outstanding warrants from East Rutherford and Point Pleasant Beach. Police later charged him with aggravated assault in connection with Sunday’s fight, authorities stated.
