HOBOKEN, NJ — A Florida family is suing after their 6-year-old daughter got her arm stuck in an elevator in Hoboken last July and needed 20 stitches, according to reports.

A mom told ABC News that she and her three kids were visiting her former home of Hoboken last summer when they decided to visit the residential building at 1450 Washington St. and go for a dip in the pool. That's when Zoe, then 5, had her arm "sucked" into a space between the elevator door and the wall as the elevator was closing. She was taken to the hospital and given 20 stitches. Now the family is suing.

The elevator maker responded by saying they were sorry about the incident but don't comment on impending litigation. See the story here.
