Gun And Drugs Seized In Hoboken Apartment With 3 Kids Inside: Prosecutor
A man was arrested for fentanyl distribution and child endangerment after a search of his Hoboken apartment, prosecutor said.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hoboken man was arrested and a gun and drugs removed from his apartment during a search on Thursday, said Hudson County prosecutors. Three children were present at the time of the search, prosecutors said.
Alexander Armstead, 33, was charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine, as well as weapons charges and child endangerment, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that detectives searched Armstead's Jackson Street apartment Thursday and found a handgun, two large-capacity magazines, and various narcotics.

Ultimately, he was charged with: second-degree possession with the intent to distribute heroin/fentanyl, third-degree possession with the intent to distribute heroin/fentanyl, two counts of third-degree possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, several counts of possession with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, three counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and weapons charges.
He was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility to await his first court appearance, prosecutors said.
