Here Comes The (Possible) Pain, Hoboken: City Preps For Weekend Snow Storm
Hoboken workers are applying brine to roadways in preparation for possible snow this weekend, city officials say.

Hoboken, NJ – City officials in Hoboken are warning residents to prepare for a possible snowstorm this weekend.
A National Weather Service Blizzard Watch has been issued for 6 a.m. on Saturday until Sunday afternoon in Hoboken, New York City, the coastal portions of Northeast New Jersey and Long Island.

“We are closely monitoring forecasts and preparing,” city officials stated via a Wednesday Twitter post. “Brine will be applied to roads on Thursday in preparation for snow.”

HUDSON COUNTY
The Hudson County Roads Division told NJ.com that the department will be using 40 workers to operate 35 pieces of equipment while covering 169 Hudson County lane miles, including county parks.
County-managed roadways will be treated with liquid brine and salt, an administrator told NJ.com.
