Hoboken Boys and Girls Club Needs Help With Gym Facelift: Fundraiser
"Witnessing our youth develop their confidence and skills in sports and fitness is truly rewarding," Hoboken organizers say.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Since opening its doors in 1984, the Boys & Girls Club of Hoboken has served thousands of youth throughout the city. Now, Mile Square City residents can get the chance to give back by helping the club to refurbish its gym.
The Boys & Girls Club of Hoboken announced the launch of its online GoFundMe fundraiser earlier this week. According to its staff:
“In 2012, the club was decimated by Superstorm Sandy and with the help of many dedicated people from across the country, we were able to repair and reopen the clubhouse within weeks of the storm. Witnessing our youth develop their confidence and skills in sports and fitness is truly rewarding. They deserve the very best facility to practice and play. Therefore, we are asking for donations to refurbish the gym. Your donation will help provide new padding throughout the gym and completely strip, refinish and repaint the hardwood floor.”
