Hoboken Flooding: Photos Around City During Fall Nor'Easter
At least six intersections in south and west Hoboken, NJ flooded during the nor'easter. See photos below and track the storm with the links.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Several corners in Hoboken were flooded Tuesday morning during the nor'easter that was expected to dump 2-4 inches of rain in the area by 6 p.m. However, the flooding was not as widespread as during last month's Tropical Depression Ida. See photos above and more below, taken from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Hoboken.



For comparison, 5 inches to 9 inches fell in Hoboken and North Jersey during Tropical Depression Ida.
Gov. Phil Murphy has declared a state of emergency in New Jersey in anticipation of 2-4 inches of rain falling during the nor'easter Tuesday.

The public schools in Hoboken remained open.
The National Weather Service has extended its flash flood watch for Hudson, Essex, Passaic, Union counties through 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The area is also under a coastal flood advisory until 3 p.m.
Significant rains are also predicted in the area on Friday night, as of now.
