Hoboken Motorcycle Cops Lead Way At NYC Columbus Day Parade

HOBOKEN, NJ — A smile-inducing race between a veteran Hoboken motorcycle cop and a youngster in a NYPD Police Department “vehicle” was just one of several ways that a group of local officers pitched in at the festivities during Monday’s Columbus Day Parade in New York City.

A group of several officers represented Hoboken and New Jersey's Italian American Society at the parade, including the department’s motorcycle unit.

In one of the day’s most heartwarming sights, Sgt. Keith Rotondi, a veteran motorcycle cop with the HPD, got the chance to race a young police booster on 5th Avenue (see video below).
