Hoboken Murder Suspect Considered Armed and Dangerous: Police
Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a Jersey City teen in connection with the murder of Hoboken's Adrian Rivera.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Authorities announced Sunday that they are searching for a third suspect in connection with the murder of Hoboken teen Adrian Rivera, who was fatally shot last month near the Andrew Jackson Gardens public housing complex.
According to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, police charged Keyshaun Wiggins, 18, of Jersey City, with offenses including murder, armed robbery, armed burglary possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose and hindering apprehension.
Authorities previously arrested a pair of suspects - Khalif Geiger, 20, of Jersey City, and a 17-year-old juvenile from Jersey City - and charged them with murder in connection to the shooting.

Authorities announced Sunday that Wiggins should be considered “armed and dangerous.” Anyone with information about his whereabouts can contact the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit at (201) 915-1345 or leave an anonymous tip on the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office website at www.hudsoncountyprosecutorsofficenj.org/homicide-tip.
Prosecutors said that Hoboken police officers were dispatched to 300 Marshall Drive in Hoboken on a 911 call of possible gun shots in the area around 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 24. On arrival, officers found Rivera in his apartment – which he shared with his mother, sister and brother - suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso, authorities said.

Emergency responders transported Rivera to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:50 p.m.
A neighbor of the deceased youth called him a “good kid” who “never gave anyone problems” and “was just a teenager like anybody else,” NJ.com reported.
Following the incident, Hudson County prosecutors stated that Rivera may have been the victim of a targeted attack that was “not a random act of violence.”
Rivera knew at least two of his alleged murderers from grammar school, Hoboken Police Chief Ken Ferrante said.
During a search of Rivera’s home after the shooting, police found three pounds of marijuana and $13,000, prosecutors stated.
Prosecutors are conducting an ongoing investigation with assistance from the Hoboken Police Department.
