Hoboken Ragamuffin Halloween Parade Is On For 2021
Hoboken's traditional Ragamuffin Halloween Parade, which was canceled in 2020, will take place on Oct. 31, 2021.
HOBOKEN, NJ — After being canceled in 2020, the traditional Hoboken Ragamuffin Halloween Parade takes place this year on Oct. 31, 2021 at 11 a.m.

Councilwoman Emily Jabbour noted in a Facebook post:

Participants can start lining up near 13th Street at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31 in order to start marching at 11 a.m. There will be no costume contest this year.

The Ragamuffin Parade has been a tradition in Hoboken since at least 1963.
On Jabbour's post, someone asked when the parade would end. Jabbour said, "It varies on the crowd size. The route is from 13th to 5th down Washington Street."
Last year residents stepped in with creative decorations and candy chutes on Halloween, and kids were still able to fill their baskets with sweets. READ MORE: Hoboken Saves Halloween With Candy Chutes
