Hoboken School Evacuated After Bomb Threat, Cleared With No Injuries: Cops

There was a strong police presence at the school to "ease the concerns of parents and staff," Hoboken authorities said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken emergency responders evacuated the All Saints School on Tuesday after it received a bomb threat, but cleared the building after no threat was found at the scene, authorities said.

According to the Hoboken Police Department, the school received a bomb threat on Tuesday evening.

HPD officers, Hoboken firefighters and NJ Transit K-9 units responded to the scene at 5:19 p.m., and reached a decision to evacuate the school, escorting the school’s staff and students to a nearby safe area, authorities said.

Police then searched the building and surrounding area as a precautionary measure, but declared the area “safe and clear” after no threats were found. School administrators were then allowed to re-enter and secure the premises.

Nobody suffered injury during the incident, police stated.

“Due to the circumstances, the Hoboken Police Department showed a strong presence at the school to ease the concerns of parents and staff,” police stated in a news release.
