Hoboken ‘Taco Truck’ Will Close, But You’ve Got Time For A Last Meal

See the closing date for the Hoboken Taco Truck restaurant. Other locations in Princeton, Morristown and King of Prussia are also closing.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Were you looking forward to grabbing a yummy snack from the Taco Truck location in Hoboken? Act fast… you’ve got until Sunday to get your fix.

On Monday, Taco Truck announced that it will be closing the Hoboken restaurant on Newark Street on Sunday, May 7. No reason for the closings was given in the company’s statement.

As of Monday, the restaurant’s locations in Princeton, Morristown and King of Prussia were already closed.

“For the last decade, it’s been our pleasure to serve you and be an integral part of your community, not just as your taco crew, but as your friends and neighbors,” the company stated on Facebook.

Founded by New Jersey residents Jason Scott and Chris Viola, The Taco Truck started as a roaming food truck. The pair opened their first brick-and-mortar location in Hoboken in 2010, according to the company.
