Hoboken Water Main Break On Garden Street: Service Restored

A six-inch water main broke in the area of 13th Street and Garden Street in Hoboken on Friday morning, leaving residents without service until around 2:30 p.m.

City officials announced the break on the municipal website, reporting that United Water construction crews were on the scene near 13th Street and Garden Street to make repairs to the main.

The main was shut off during the repair process, causing residents on Garden Street between 12th and 13th streets, as well as 13th Street between Bloomfield Street and Park Avenue, to lose water service.
