Hoboken's Bank of America To Close And Reopen: Update On Timing

HOBOKEN, NJ — The remaining Bank of America branch in Hoboken will close this Friday afternoon, a spokesperson said this week, but a new one will open next week.

The location at 1 Firehouse Plaza will close the afternoon of this Friday, Dec. 8, said the spokesperson. The ATM there will close at the same time.

She said, "The new location is scheduled to open on Monday, Dec. 11. There will be three ATMs at the new location that will go live later this week."

That location is 55 Washington St., the southern end of the street. It was once the site of a Barnes & Noble.

There is also a standalone Bank of America ATM machine at the shopping plaza at 400 Newark St.
