How To Stay Warm, Protect Neighbors In Hoboken Cold Snap
Hoboken officials offer tips on cold weather preparedness, and who to call if you see vulnerable people or pets trapped outside.

HOBOKEN, NJ —What are some ways you can protect your family – and home – during this week’s cold snap? Who should you call if you see a homeless person outside on the frigid Hoboken streets, or if you spot a pet left out in the freeze?
As Hoboken residents deal with dangerously cold temperatures this week, local officials are offering some important winter safety tips.
Hoboken Police Chief Ken Ferrante reminded residents that they should dress warm, hydrate and check on elderly family members and neighbors. They should also keep their children warm and prevent them from making unnecessary outdoor trips, he wrote.
