Long Awaited Italian Restaurant Set to Open
San Giuseppe opens Monday afternoon at 1320 Adams Street.
, the Italian restaurant located at 1320 Adams Street that had been under construction since the fall, will celebrate its grand opening Monday afternoon at 4:30pm.
“It feels great,” co-owner Maria Russo said. “We've been working at it a long time."
Russo, a Hoboken native who owns the restaurant with her husband Joe, said that building contractor delays pushed back the opening by over two months.

The restaurant is named after the Sicilian born Joe Russo's patron saint. San Giuseppe will honor those cultural roots with a traditional southern Italian menu that includes coal brick oven baked pizza, plus pasta, appetizers, pies, cappuccino and other desserts.
San Giuseppe will have waiter service with indoor seating, as well as outdoor seating during warm months. Customers can also order carryout.

The restaurant is located at Peach Tree Hollow Commerce Center, which, similar to a suburban strip mall, has its own dedicated parking lot. San Giuseppe will be open from 4:30-10pm Monday through Friday, with service until 11pm on Saturdays. It will be closed on Sundays.
Coming soon: a coat depot comes to the Neumann building, and a bakery and Cuban restaurant come closer to opening.
